As an employer, it is important to ensure that your employees are punctual and adhere to their schedules, CloudPunch's Lockout and Shifts policies can help. With these policies, you can create and assign a lockout policy that prevents employees from punching in before or after their scheduled shift.
Configure lockouts:
- Log into your CloudPunch web portal.
- Click on Policies in the side menu.
- Go to the Lockout and Shift section.
- Select the Lockout and Shift policy assigned to the users you want to restrict or create a new policy.
- Select the toggle switch for each day that will have a Lockout enabled or use the Set Lockouts option to apply lockouts to multiple days at once (such as all weekdays).
- Enter the Lockout Before and the Lockout After times.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save.
