Open the CloudPunch App on the CP200 Time Clock from the Android Home Screen

This article will assist you in opening the CloudPunch app if the CP200 time clock boots into the Android OS after a restart noted by the yellow and black background.

Reset app preferences on the CP200 time clock:

1. From the Android home screen, tap the menu icon.
2. Tap the Settings icon. 
3. Tap Apps. 
4. Tap the ellipses in the upper right corner. 
5. Select Reset app preferences. 
6. Tap Reset Apps to confirm. 
7. Tap the back arrow. 
8. Tap Home. 
9. Select Empire from the list of options. 
10. Power cycle the time clock.

Open the CloudPunch Empire app on the CP200 time clock:

If the device opens to the Android screen, you can open the CloudPunch Empire app directly from the app menu. 

1. From the Android home screen, tap the menu icon.
2. Tap the Empire icon. 

Download the CloudPunch Empire app to the CP200 time clock:

If the CloudPunch Empire app is not on the device, you will need to download the app to the time clock. 

1. Connect your time clock to your network router with an ethernet cable.
2. From the Android home screen, tap the menu icon.
3. Tap the ES File Explorer app.
4. Tap the Menu icon (the three bars) on the left navigation menu.
5. Expand the Tools section and tap Download Manager. 
6. Tap the +New button on the right. 
7. In the Path field, enter the file link below. Please note it is case-sensitive. 
8. In the Name field, add a file name such as "CloudPunch version 1.03.XX". 
9. Tap Download Now. 
10. Once the download is complete, select Open File. 
11. Select Install. 
12. Once the installation is complete, select Open.
