Removing/Archiving People Follow
While you are not able to permanently delete a person from the CloudPunch account, you can archive people who are no longer members of your workforce. If you have seasonal personnel, you can archive and unarchive as needed. Once archived, all biometric templates associated with this employee will be deleted within 30 days. If this employee is unarchived, they will need to be registered again on the time clock to punch using biometrics.
To complete the steps in this article, you must be an administrator or have the necessary view and/or edit permissions enabled. If you believe you should be able to complete the steps and are not able to, reach out to your account administrator to discuss updating the settings for your Role.
It is the sole responsibility of the account administrator to manage all aspect of the account. The Workwell team will not make changes to your account, such as archiving people/devices and modifying the price plan or any other settings. After archiving people, be sure to check your price plan and adjust accordingly.
Remove/archive people:
- Log into your CloudPunch web portal.
- Click on People in the side menu.
- Click on the person's profile.
- Click the Status field and set the status to Archived.
- Click Save.
Unarchive people:
- Log into your CloudPunch web portal.
- Click on People in the side menu.
- Click the Status icon at the top of the page.
- Select Archived, Temporarily Inactive, or All.
- Click on the person's profile.
- Click the Status field and set the status to Active.
- Click Save.
