Enable Punching on the Web Portal Follow
This article will walk you through setting up a user for punching on the web portal from start to finish. Users will access the web portal using your Company Site and their username and password.
To complete the steps in this article, you must be an administrator or have the necessary view and/or edit permissions enabled. If you believe you should be able to complete the steps and are not able to, reach out to your account administrator to discuss updating the settings for your Role.
Set up a user for punching in the web portal:
- Set up a Punch Management Policy with web punching enabled.
- Enable IP Address restrictions as needed.
- Add the administrator, supervisor, or employee to the account.
- Set a username and password for the user.
- Add the Punch Management Policy to the user's profile.
- Provide the user with your company site and their username and password.
