Setting up Department Transfers Follow
In CloudPunch you can give your administrators, supervisors, and employees the ability to punch in and out of a department that is different than their home department using the Allow Department Transfer option in their Punch Management policy.
To complete the steps in this article, you must be an administrator or have the necessary view and/or edit permissions enabled. If you believe you should be able to complete the steps and are not able to, reach out to your account administrator to discuss updating the settings for your Role.
All changes made to a policy will apply to all users assigned to that policy.
Enable department transfers:
- Log into your CloudPunch account.
- Click on Policies in the side menu.
- Go to Punch Management.
- Select the policy you want to update.
- Set Allow Department Transfer to Yes.
- Click Save to update the policy.
