Factory Reset Your CP200 Follow
Resetting your CP200 time clock restores it to its original settings. This process deletes all user data and personalization settings, returning the device to its default state. The following steps may fix issues that aren't resolved by other troubleshooting methods.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This process should only be completed with the assistance of a CloudPunch Customer Service Technician. Please reach out to us via chat, email, text, or phone. Completing this process without a support technician could result in lost punches and/or the device being unusable.
Reset the CP200:
- Connect the time clock to your internet router with a LAN ethernet cable.
- Access the Production Menu in the QC Tools on the time clock on the time clock using the Super Admin Passcode.
- Select CloudPunch for the Product Type.
- Select US for the Region.
- Back out of the Production menu to QC Tools and request a new device ID.
- Select the correct model from the list of models.
- Write down the new device ID once it displays.
- Add the new ID to your account.
- Click OK.
- Press the Power icon to go back to the main screen.
